OZ the great and powerful, a great movie !!

Just finished watching the great movie released last night !!!!

OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL !! MEMANG GREAT AND POWERFUL !!

I never read his book as i am not a big fan of English novel...

but, this movie is just so great !!

according to my hardcore friend who is fan of L. Frank Baum, i think is the author of the book.

He said, the story is modified from the real Wizard of Oz novel, but is still a small part from it. 

The movie is so great, maybe you can take it as another point of view of the story, but do not expect it will be totally the same as the real story from the novel. Even so, the movie is still so great ! full of comedy and surprises that you will never think of. 

The story begin with a cheater liar worldly magician drop himself in the wonderful land of Oz by tornado with hot balloon. The witches of Oz tell him that this is the prophecy that a wizard will fall from the sky to save the Oz from a wicked witch. So, in order to get the thrown and golds, he cheated everyone and claimed himself as the real true wizard that assigned to save them. And in order to be the king, he must kill the wicked witch !!! how is this liar with no magic kill the true evil magic witch ?

In between, so many funny things happen !!!

how did he met a flying talking monkey servant ? 

how did he met the china doll ? 

Glinda is the wicked witch ? 

how the people of Oz with kind heart manage to save themself ?

how the liar with no true magic magician manage to win over the bad witches ? 

i love the story of this movie, very very creative flow of story, and also very funny.

it is a great movie that i suggest parent can spend time with their children or a group of friend want to have some great time together by watching this.

the most interesting part is the climax of the ideas he use to save the people of Oz...

so creative !!! THUMB UP !! 5 STARS !!!!!! 

go watch this movie, relax yourself, have a great time with THE WIZARD OF OZ !!! 

cheer up yourself with non stop laughter !!!

piano day

A day playing with real piano, not a keyboard is always the best day for me.

miss my piano since i left my home for 5 years !! 

5 years of malpractice make me want to cry especially playing back the old piano pieces.

what to do..you always need to sacrifice something in order to gain something.

so i appreciate this wonderful day of playing a real piano in aunt's house !!

oh..happy happy day !!

Review of Labuan Part 1

During CNY this year 2013, my dad suddenly came out with this unplanned trip, we are going to Labuan for the FIRST TIME. 

Due to no knowledge and no experience, my dad asked around my relatives how to go, what is the schedule for the ferry, places interesting in Labuan and so on. My relatives were giving all different information especially the schedule for ferry.

My job is to search online about it, i had read so many blog by other people, the review of Labuan is not bad. The information that i got is so confusing, as different year, different company and different places of going had their own different schedule time and price. So, we decided to go to Menumbok ,which is 3 hours far from my house at Kudat and consider the most economic choice for us. 

So, on that day, we arrived Menumbok at 8.30am, I queued up in front of the counter. You need to fill in a form which they provided on the desk, and also collect all the Malaysia IC from your whoever you going with. With Malaysia IC, you will get 50 % discount. If you are going to ferry with car, different type of car based on the engine power will have different pricing. For us, 6 adults (and one of them forget to bring IC ) and a Vigo Hilux car costed us around rm 65 if im not mistaken.  

Yes, done dealing with all this kind of paper works !! 

but the thing is, the ferry only arrived at 10.30am which we still have another 2 more hours to wait. The information that given by my relative 8.30 am and 9 am is wrong !!!!

 Menumbok to Labuan schedule is only at 10.30am and 4pm.

i found information from this website is quite reliable, at least the schedule from what i experienced is correct.

but actually Menumbok is not the only place can reach Labuan, i think from Kota Kinabalu Jesselton Point  is also not a bad choices for tourists who visit KK and stay at KK.

If you want to save more time from waiting the ferry to arrive, you can try going by Speedboat service. Im not sure about the price for each individual.

Saw another small ferry on the sea.

Finally, the ferry arrived. 

Before that, they provided a big car park for those who want to bring their car to Labuan.

Each car will queue up for their turn.

All the car arranged nicely with the help of the staff. Total in 5 lines.

The ferry has 3 floors, ground floor is for the cars, second is where there is lot of sitting area for passenger and highest is a wide big space to view great scenery.

Met another old single floor ferry on the way to Labuan.

That day, maybe due to CNY, there is lots of people on the ferry, i couldn't get a seat at second floor, so i sat on the stair from ground floor. Fresh windy sea breeze is so nice and relaxing. Surprisingly, there is lots of people choose to sit on staircase, maybe it is more windy than sitting at second floor. 

And also, i found that the toilet is so so clean, cleaner than some restaurant i been before.

 Toilet is available at one of the side at Ground floor.

last minute birthday celebration

This is a last minute prepared birthday celebration.

 Instead cake, i brought a 1.67L mint chocolate chip ice cream.

with the red ribbon of my old dress which i cant wear at all now, and the happy birthday decoration from my 3 years back birthday cake..

and now it turn to this funny ice cream 'cake', i thought it will be so awful, but when i see this photo, i cant stop myself from sharing this cute and creative 'cake', created by me. 

simple and last minute job in the midnight where you are far from town to get a cake, and don't have your own kitchen to bake or cook , what else you expect me to do, right ?

Hansel and Gretel

Just back home from Hansel and Gretel night movie..

overall, i love it so much. 

love their action, love the bloody,love their guns and tools, love their witches makeup, love how powerful is their witches, love their hero as a real hero will get beaten up too, this make the movie so human, love their story !!!

i dont want be the spoiler telling the story first, if you like action plus bloody plus comedy !! 

Go watch this Hansel and Gretel movie..

it is fun to see how they try to bring in modern stuff into that movie, like the defibrillator and insulin injection..

hahahaha..i hope i wont dream how the body explode into million bloody pieces, how troll Edward smash their bloody head and step on the head, how they chop the witch's head....oh my...my blood is boiling get excited already !!!!
